POS Hardware: Line Display / Pole Display

The right line display will provide product and pricing information to your customer as each item is scanned into your POS system. In many states, it is required these items be installed, including the state of Arizona.

There are a great number of Line Displays available for use with The Microsoft Retail Management System. The key decision in choosing the right display is size and mounting options. StyleTeks recommends the Logic Controls displays, however we have implemented a great number of other types. Below, you will see our recommendation and a few other pictures of models available.

Logic Controls PD-3000 Pole Display
The Logic Controls PD-3000 is known as the market leading product for line displays. It is incredibly reliable and fully functional providing a clear 2-line display with scrolling and speed options. This pole display is mounted at your cash wrap and typically only shows the top half of the pole, as well as the display itself.

This model is available in white or black depending on your decor and other POS peripherals. Logic Controls also provides a 1-year limited manufacturers warranty.

Other Pole Display / Line Display Options
Other models are available that provide a counter top display type. This option allows you to simply sit the display on your counter or atop a platform on oyur counter top.

Other Pole Display manufacturers are compatible with the Microsoft Retail Management System, however based on the construction and reliability of these pole displays, they are the only ones we recommend. Retailers with existing pole displays in place, other then the ones listed on this page, can most likely use the same display without making an unnecessary investment into a new model.
