Here is a list of our recommended cash drawers:

Logic Controls CR-3000 Series
The Logic Controls CR-3000 Series Cash Drawers are very popular, and provide great reliability and value with failure rates 1/5 that of other leading vendors. This is a standard duty cash drawer with under counter mounting options. As with most cash drawers, the CR-3000 Series interfaces directly with all major brands of receipt printer (which is required to "pop" it open). There is also a 3-position lock allowing all necessary types of access or restrictions on the cash drawer.

This model is available in white or black depending on your decor and other POS peripherals. Logic Controls also provides a 1-year limited manufacturers warranty.

MMF Heritage Series Cash Drawers
The MMF Heritage Series is a one-piece steel construction cash drawer providing ultimate security. Mounting options are available, as well as color options in both black and beige. There are multiple size options, bell options, and till options too, allowing you to fit this cash drawer into just the right space.

Other cash drawer manufacturers are compatible with the Microsoft Retail Management System, however based on the construction and reliability of these cash drawers, they are the only ones we recommend. Retailers with existing cash drawers in place, other then the ones listed on this page, can most likely use the same cash drawer without making an unnecessary investment into a new model.
